Reviews From Our Patients

I have had recurring chronic back pain for a number of years. I tried on my doctor's recommendation to resolve the problem with physiotherapy and when that didn't work with the help of a chiropractor. I gave up on both after many appointments which were proving to be not only costly but ineffective. My brother in Quebec directed me to try an osteopath.

I searched and found the clinic online. Stan Vinnikov was available. At the time I was in extreme pain and movement was very limited. During the consultation and initial assessment he explained what the best schedule would be for treatment. Stan is very knowledgeable in the field and takes the time to explain what is wrong and what is required. His approach is completely professional, --combining a wealth of experience from his previous medical training and his more recent education and experience in osteopathy. Stan is a very caring, positive and warm person.

I have been very satisfied with the whole process of treatment and the final result. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Stan Vinnikov to friends and family.

I met Stan after I broke my foot in two places - the tibia and fibula - and spent over 10 weeks in a cast. I did try physiotherapy but found I was not progressing as quickly as I wanted. I knew a little about osteopathy and how it looked at the entire body and how it all functions together, so I thought I would give it a try.

He asked questions and listened to me and quickly determined that working on my ankle and foot was one part, but my whole body had compensated for my injury and needed some attention. He worked on my back as well as my ankle and leg, and suggested perhaps a massage would also be helpful.

I am happy to say that it worked for me and continues to work for me. I am now paying attention to my whole body, what I can do, what I should do and what I should not do. I even tried acupuncture and it worked as Stan explained it could work if I was open to it. Each week with his "knowledge and skill" as he would put it, he manipulates my foot, and each week I noticeably progress towards normal use of my foot.

I have been going for twice a week and there is a marked improvement in m range of motion. We discuss each visit what I am doing on my own that is helpful and what is not so helpful. He explains why in each case so I clearly understand the game plan.

I would recommend Stan and his partner Anastasia, a massage therapist, highly.

Dr. Stanislav Vinnikov is an excellent practionner. He listens attentively to his patients and is able to diagnose problems quickly and accurately. His treatments are effective, and they bring relief. I went to see him for accute heel and back pain, and he was able to diagnose both tendinitis and several vertebrae out of alignment. His treatments have worked wonders, and I am convinced that Dr. Vinnikov has the smartest hands that have ever treated me!
